Serenity Housing Development

Will serve as a transitional living facility for women veterans with children under 18 and other displaced mothers and their children. The facility will provide private and shared living spaces in a trauma-informed, healing-centered environment. Up to 4–6 families will benefit from wraparound support, mental health therapy, job readiness programs, and parenting education tailored to foster recovery, empowerment, and long-term stability.

Program Duration: 6–24 months

Primary Goals:

  • Transition to permanent housing

  • Employment or continued education

  • Emotional and financial independence

On-Site Services Provided:

  • Individual and group therapy

  • The Ink Spot Art Therapy for children

  • Parenting and life skills workshops (OPTIONS 231)

  • Financial literacy, job coaching, and wellness programs

  • Job skills training and employment placement assistance

  • Veteran-specific case management and benefits navigation

  • Crisis counseling and long-term support planning
